M&K Sound's LCR750C, centre channel speaker, carries the THX Select 2 certification and takes full advantage of M&K Sound’s legacy quality and performance. This compact front centre speaker, partnered with two M&K Sound's LCR750 speakers is perfect for small to medium sized home cinema and is replete with the identical drivers and crossover components as M&K Sound’s active professional studio monitors and 150 Series.
THX Certified Select products are for medium-sized rooms, up to 56.63 cubic metres / 2,000 cubic feet / in size.
The LCR750C is designed as a centre speaker and is part of M&K Sound's 750 series of speakers taking the THX Certified Select category to a new level with radical performance and acoustical upgrades.
Innovation and high performance technologies from the reference S150 series have now been integrated into these convenient bookshelf sized speakers. Primed for small home cinemas and AV rooms, the LCR750C and LCR750 are front soundstage loudspeakers and along with the SUR55T, the most compact THX Tripole® solution and timbre matched to any of the 750 Series speakers the complete surround sound system is capable of undeniably transparency and exceptional detail retrieval. Cohesive and smooth response combine with an exemplary on and off axis response for perfect imaging at a multiple listening positions.
The 750 series features the Danish designed high performance tweeters that have a specially constructed resonance damped tweeter magnet system for precise transient control and an integrated waveguide combined with short horn load for wide dispersion and smooth frequency response. The high frequency prism system, curved metal grill and angle tweeter is optimised off axis as well as on axis response. Phase focused crossover designs are optimised for low crossover points and transient control.
The LCR750C has 2 x 5.25" woofers built with aluminium distortion killer rings for reduced distortion at high SPL levels and extra stiff coated fibre glass cone with special M&K profile geometry.
