The ProofVision PVO43SDW is rated at IP55, making it weather resistant and ideal for use in a shaded area of the garden, such as under eaves, within a pergola or car port. Brighter than a regular TV, it delivers a crisp and detailed image in most lighting conditions, except direct sunlight.
Weather resistant
IP55 rated, this ProofVision 43 inch TV is durable enough to be placed outdoors in all but the harshest weather. Designed to withstand low pressure water jets and dust ingress, it also makes a perfect choice for humid conditions, such as in a swimming pool room or bathroom. For added protection when not in use, a dustcover is also supplied.
Waterproof remote
ProofVision hasn’t just protected the TV, they’ve made sure the remote control is up to the task, too. With an IP67 rating, the waterproof remote control can withstand being left out in a downpour.

As well as being weatherproof, an outdoor TV needs to be brighter than usual. With a brightness figure of 1000 nits, this ProofVision TV remains clear and easy to see in all but direct sunlight. Built-in speaker system
For ease of installation and reduced clutter, the PVO43SDW is fitted with a built-in speaker system. Although you might want to invest in an outdoor speaker system for party-level music and nights, the 10 watt speaker system is perfect for general TV use.
Freeview HD built-in
Freeview makes watching regular TV easy. Simply connect an aerial, just as with any other TV, and you’re good to go. Freeview lets enjoy a wide range of channels, many of which are in HD.
VESA fitting for secure mounting
Using a VESA 200 x 300 mounting, the TV easily fits a wide range of suitable, weatherproof supports. Use with a wall bracket, freestanding stand or weatherproof trolley – the choice is yours.
Input other sources
Just like an ordinary TV, the PVO43SDW has all the inputs you’d expect. Three HDMI sockets are perfect for a games console, TV set-top box and Blu-ray player. There are also two USB inputs for media devices and an optical output for connecting to an enhanced audio system.
